Ahh, I see. I thought your Rasail was a boarding shotgun loadout instead of a viral combi. So your kamael is an observer. I'm following now.

So I was messing about on army V the other day and wanted to make a combined army using only hackers and REMs. This is what I came up with. What do you peoples think? I would actually really like trying it out. The Unidrons become really deadly with marksmanship lvl 2 from the hackers, same with the TR HMG remote. And who doesn't love a cybermask 2W 5ARM dude with a plasma rifle!

I've tried something fairly close to this (I've got all the models to do it), the problem is the high order intensity of such Tactics. Cyber mask and support programs are long orders, and with just a few hackers, you're not getting all that much benefit. Unidrons can be buffed nicely, but only 1 per hacker at a time.

Better to use your orders getting your charontid within that 16 inch sweet spot for plasma or attempts at sepsitor!

Yea I think most games it would be 1-2 orders giving buffs (lvl 2 marksman to the TR remote and Burst two ARO to the ML) and then cybermask fun begins!

I think i am interested by it due to the opposite nature of my Tohaa. I don't have any real hackers (let alone a wip 16 one with a Hacking+ device) or REMs. I heard rumors that there is supposed to be a new sectorial that focuses even more on the REM nature of the combined. If that comes out I have found my second faction!

Sexy. As much as I love Tohaa their playstyle can still be fairly limited due to models available. Might change with HSN3 though.

With HSN3, EVO repeaters will be turned into hacker remotes so you won't even need a hacker to run remotes. The CA will also FINALLY get this option so you'll be able to run (in theory) a 100% drone army.

You could also try Nomads if you want more hackety goodness. I sure enjoy my Interventors.

Not too bad, I'd say. Lots of lane control, some big guns, and loads of specialists and mobility.

New scuplt is amazeballs.

Everything else didn't really catch my eye. Stupid space monkies stop looking so cool, no monies for more factions!

I reallly like the new domaru... and havign faced those power-armored samurai on the battlefield, I can tell you, they are hardcore. I cant imagine a link team of them...

Cannot wait for a missile launcher rodok. All those space monkeys superjumping around, popping off HMGs and missiles in a link? yuuup

Anyhow, this is what i own.  combination of operation ice storm and some random models that looked cool that i picked up last year this time.

Assuming most games take place at 6SWC /300 ? most of the lists so far seem to be that.

doing some reading this week and i'll put together something for actual play soon. willing to take any advice on list building from here.

Most games take place at 300/6swc

I would recommend starting at 200/4 and not worring much about the swc. Learning the basics is way more important at first. Especially the order/aro mechanic
