Looks pretty good! Lucky tohaa with thirr multiple links...

I think it would be interesting at least. Really tried to fit in the new nakaul(SPL?) Sniper. But at 1.5 sw I have to drop either the ectros/neema or the gao tarsos. I love the idea of dropping an impetuous hmg into someone's deployment.

Would love to have a hacker for its missions but the best i can get is a defensive one. I don't remember if that qualifoes for mission?

And yea three link teams in the first group seems amazing in paper. Still have to get test games in lol.

That does look like a pretty damn good list and to answer your question, unless the model has "Hacker" listed in their troop profile, they aren't specialists. I believe the kameal unit just has the defensive hacking device equipment and not the skill.

Here`s a pretty good, absolutely RETARDED smoke assault force. Oznat links with pretas, and with daturazis, smokes up the field. Zerat infiltrates in to get objectives, with kurgat following. If I`m worried about AD: combat drop, I`ll dropabout a billion mines in my deployment (6 mine using units) or just bum-rush the enemy with a horde of gaunts followed by the big boys.

So, I'm not ENTIRELY sure what I'm doing here yet, but how does this look as a list? Feel free to rip it apart. I'm a big fan of a decent amount of mid-range troops with support. Not super elites, but not cannon fodder sorta thing. I'd also like to be able to make small 2-man fire teams. Is that a thing?

You've got .5 to many SWC for the list is the first thing I see and, while I appreciate the symmetry, you'll want to vary your troops a little more just to deal with things you might come across like camo troops and heavy weapons. You can also only have 4 Invinicibles in a vanilla yu jing list.

To answer your question there is no such thing as 2 man fireteams. You can have one and only one team at a time and they can be from 3 to 5 units, giving you special buffs depending on the number.

It'll be tough for you right now to build the army you want until #rd comes out and the Invincible units get cheaper. For now you can try something like this:

The new invincibles are gunna be the tanky new sectorial, so lookin pretty tough.

Only couple of problems I see with list:

1- goals: this list has no specialists (think scoring units from 6th ed 40k, only specialists can take objectives. Specialists are: Hackers, Paramedics, doctors, engineers, or chain-of-command figs.

2- links: right now, there is no invincibles link, since the sectorial rules arent out yet, so you dont need to really worry about them.

3- models: there is only one zuyong fig out, so you`ll be waiting quite a while before new ones come out. couple of months at least.

Heres a similar list, running imperial service, with something roughly approaching the heavy infantry-light infantry spread you might be looking for, based on available units (with a link)

The garuda is an aleph unit loaned out to the imperial service, makes a great deep strike backline wrecker. The hsien is a really good lt, wu ming adds some armor, the imperial agent backs up your lt in case he dies, and acts as a specialist. the celestial guard are a great link, with a hacker to help break other heavies and capture objectives, and a spitfire to mess up people with burst 5. The ninja is just mean, and will wreck stuff as a backup to the garuda (drop the garuda, everyone turns to handle it, and your ninja pops out and cuts em up).

Just my suggestion! The terracotta wont really be worth it till u can link em, which we should see with the acheron falls book out later this year.

Hey Paz and Ian.. next time you got your builder can you oost a couple  Yu jing sectorial lists including myamoto, yojimo and the merc ninja dude.

Coolio..  does Yojimbo have a bike or is that extra?

How does Myamoto look as a character anyway? He's just a swordsman more or less?

The Haramaki are all ninjas? Ill check them out but looks nice and compact. Oh, Samurai in servo armour, even better.  

Not sure Im sold on the game until I try it out of course, but I love the Miyamoto and Yojimbo models anyway so Ill pick those up. Thanks for the list Paz.

Yojimbo comes with the bike, but he can dismount.

The haramaki are robo-samurai, in a link team. Very good equipment and armor!

Miyamoto is the best cc guy in the game hands down, and quick. He and Yojimbo are both a bit hard to control, but if they can close, say goodbye to anything they assault.

An easy transfer from zipping Kharn around. I just have to figure out how to paint him red and gold. 

Robo samurai.. even better!
