Chaos daemons/inquisition leading the pack? what level of alliance is that, come the apocalypse?

Radical Inquisitors are a thing. It's not so much a jump to the left as a step to the right to go from Radical to Fallen/Traitor/look-at-all-my-tentacles.

I can picture Inquisitors that have turned, going with csm or traitor guard, but straight up daemons? doesnt fit with any fluff really.

I have to agree with planes, i mean how many of adems dh campains had ether fighting or working for a radical inquistor

Perhaps more to the point, I've run one such campaign where the big twist was the Inquisitor was possessed, and the party was unwitting pawns of chaos.

Hmmm, don't think of it as "Daemons and Inquisition" rather, "Talented rogue psykers summoning daemon packs to do their bidding" It would work if modeled that way, I'd let it slide.

Number one rule of fluff for 40k "the universe is large enough that at some point everything has happened". If the player can think of a reason why it could happen it can.

Now that doesn't mean people are not giant turds who just want to combine the most broken aspects of armies to never lose.

There is a world at the far side of the Eye where the Inquisitors summon Demons that appear to them as My little Ponies(Hounds of Khorne) to fight on the side of the Emperor.

Their White Scars succession chapter rides Ponies into to battle. The unicorn ponies are especially prized Friends of this group, and due to the age of the chapter you may even see one riding around on a Pegasus Pony(Sammael)
In times of real need the Care Bears(Pink and Blue horrors) are summoned en mass to Care Bear Stare the enemy into compliance.
Occasionally, a Rainbow Bright (lord of change) or Strawberry Shortcake(bloodthirster) shows up to lend a hand.

The emperor's forces don't know the terror in their midst because Smurfette(Keeper of secrets) beguiles them with her magics and blinds them with her beauty.

Wait so would that make it a Tauanid army

I've seen an army like that before. They modelled the Tyranid leader-beasts with bits of Tau tech sticking out of the base of their necks, implying mind control. They also modelled one of the bigger Nid beasties (one of the hyrodules, I think?) with a pair of Rail Cannons in place of what it normally had on it's back.
