Weekend Apocolypse Event in Celebration of New Imperial Guard Codex.....But mostly just for fun

Hello all,

There has been some discussion about organizing another Apocolypse game down an the Den. We are looking at the May 2nd/3rd weekend.

If you are interested, please respond to this post with the army you would like to play and the amount of points you would be capable of fielding.

If we get enough interest, I will see what I can pull together.

I will be in, I can field up to:

-2500 pts daemons (prolly with FW apoc daemon lists, up to 3000),

Robyn, we gotta bring the whole team of apoc daemons, we have all the FW models

So I guess that means you're not making May Day Robyn?

I'm not sure if I'm free for it yet but I'd be interested, I can play 4000 chaos or 4000 tau or both in a strangely awesome alliance with 2000 orks for a 10,000pts? lmao that would rock... not much fun for the opponent tho, let me know cuz I'm happy to play either tau or chaos, my orks need an injection of $$$ to be a decent army, donations welcome lol

If have enough points to play a normal game of Warhammer, you can play Apocolypse. You generally play on a team and do not have field a 10,000 point army all by yourself. You can contribute any amount of point you want. As well, a number of us have the Apoc books and templates, so you dont need to have all that yourself.

If you want to play, let us know what you want to play....for example, if you have a 1500 point eldar army, you could play that or some portion of it.

how big are the teams? and yah i will play all my eldar only, 1700 points though, 10000 points would tke like 6 hours but i will still do it i could have eldar that insted of hating she who thirsts(slannesh) they embrace the power and ally with slannesh with that i could play 3000 points. one more question could an apoc game be 2 different 1500 arimies agaisnt another 2 1500 point armies played by the same commander

i would be in for the game on sunday, but Saturday's are a no go for me due to work. and i could bring some IG tankage, some SM podage and dreadage, or some tasty CSM Evilage

I cant make it. I will be in South Korea visiting the inlaws

I'll probably show up since it's looking less and less likely that I'll be in a position to go down to May Day in Edmonton, sucks though I was looking forward to going. ^^;

I can bring my Sisters and Marines, together I can bring out 4000 or more points.

Chris A --> 4000 Sisters/Marines
Ben --> 1700 Eldar

Team Evil
Tom --> 4000 Chaos Space Marine
Paz --> 2500 Daemons

Stash has not replied, but seeing as how he was the first to post, I will assume he would want to play on Team Good.

As it appears that we will not have enough players for multiple teams and a multi-day event, I will play one whatever team needs more filler.

As well, with the way things are panning out at the moment, we will likely just play a normal Apoc game.

I might be able to make it out for this, not sure when I'm heading home yet after finals though.

I can do about 4000 pts of guard

I can also go over 4000 points if needed. Really, there's a lot of really cool stuff I want to put into play. :p

I'm definitly in and would be up for the two day event. I can be there with 10k of Nids or like 20k of Marines... and I can bring a Trygon, Reaver, and Warhound to mix it up.

Stash --> Team Good --> 4000 points of Guard
Chris H --> Team Evil --> 10,000 points of Nids....or a Reaver and a Warhound....

We if we get another person, we could do four 2-person teams with two good and two evil teams....I can play either SM/Guard as good or Evil as CSM or Nids.....but would kinda like to play SM/Guard Mixed.

really sorry guys, I just found out last night I have to go to calgary for a funeral so I can't make the apocalypse game... sucks alot, really wanted to kick some ass with paz for a change... you know instead of kicking paz's ass. lol

Being that it is a smaller group, we may only run 1 day unless people really wanna go 2 days.

I Can do about 2000 of guard, 1800 in marines, 1800 in CSM plus bring 2 super heavies
