Booyah Bitches!
I got Lincolns repeater last night. Booyah Mo-Fo's! I'm gonna go kill all those slave peddlin' fucks tonight with it too! SHould be fun. My boy loves it when I blow a dude's head off. I'm glad I was stocked up on .44 shells though.

Cool, I have no diea what that is but it sounds awesome.
I lent my game out after I finished it, but Im itching for a little action. Ive been playing alot of baseball, and cant help but feel the desire to go bash someones head in with my bat.. but it wont let me do it !!

Lincoln's Repeater was probably my favorite gun. It's not the most exciting gun, but it is definately the most acurate in the game, and wow does it pack a punch with a headshot.

They are all over the place... all over the place. Youll find one eventually, but I think the first place I found them was at the town of Minefield.. the lady who owns the repair shop will send you there at some point for her book.

Heh, have you guys found any named weapons yet? I've found some of the named heavy weapons and they are sweeeet. The Burnmaster's my favorite so far quickly followed up by the Vengance multilaser. Slice the head off a Enclave soldier at 100 yards in half a second? Yes please.

Re: FALLOUT 3 thread
Lincoln's repeater is sweet, but now the market for .44 shells is depressed in my game. Where the =I=censor=I= is Obama and his message of hope for my arms dealers?
I got the "ultra" SMG from Sydney, 'cause she totally couldn't cope with getting lasered in the back by a robot (just like a chick I tells ya, get to know them and BAMMO! Lasered all to =I=censor=I=!). The only thing really cool about that is the 50 round mag.
Christ the thing I am hard on in the game is combat shotguns. Like tubes of GW super glue or GW small drybrush it seems I kill all of two super mutants and those things are all bustigated suddenly. I hope I find one that's not made by slave labour soon.
My fav gun, other than the repeater, is still the good 'ole Mini Gun. Do I need to get better at laserin' dudes? I haven't upped that skill 'cause I like good old fashioned exploding bad guys when I kill them and didn't like the lame cutting in half of guys from laser weapons. Is it important at the end? I imagine I'll have to go kill Malcolm McDowell at the end of the game. I owe him one for Star Trek: Generations so do I need a laser skill to do it?

Nah.. You don't need energy weapons skillz. My first go through the game I was all about small and big guns. No problemo Amigo!

Yeah, you don't need a skill to use weapons, just that the higher the skill the more damage and better accuracy you've got.
As for the shotguns, they take more damage if they actually get hit in combat. Try not getting shot, or shooting first. :p
Though I've found that the mix of Unarmed and Heavy weapons does wonders. Can't beat taking down a Behemoth barehanded.

Re: FALLOUT 3 thread
Game starts.. get combat shotgun. Game proceeds, get plasma rifle. Finish game.. That's how the pros do it.. !
When I started the game, I had like the minimum in small arms.. and I took energy and heavy weapons as tag skills. Of course, I didnt find a heavy weapon until about 20 hours into it... and most of the heavy's suck.. well, at least to the point you dont have to pump all your point into the skills. You dont even really have to iut hit with any of them.. just aim close'ish.
