Winter playoffs

Argh..  I had completely typed my first message and it wiped itself off. There is nothing more annoying than having to type the exact same message twice, son of a ..   k, so here we go again.

I've got the random match-ups ready to roll.

Pool Champs
Robyn/System Commander (1790) - vs. Tom/Planes (1730)
Mark/Lore Weaver (1805) vs. Ian/Gingerballs (1700)

Pool Chumps
Beau/Roland (1760) vs. Tom/Aegwymourn (1775)
Dallas/Superdeuxlol (1745) vs. Mike/Rhaevyn (1715)

So, as with previous league playoffs, you make one list at your assigned points and use for all your games in the playoffs. For the playoffs, we wont be using any Dataslates, FW, Formations, new Fortifications or Escalation. Supplements and regular armies are all good. Next playoffs we might switch it up, but we'll see then.

I'll get the scenarios up shortly, but for Mark and Ian, if you guys are playing your playoff game tomorrow night, let me know and I'll expedite it. I would have done it tonight but I'm feeling annoyed now..    I can say there will be two missions objective based, and one kill point if you want to start working on your list.

Oh, and lastly, just keep in mind the general league rules for lists. The playoffs is the time to up the ante a bit but really try to take a neutral look with your army list and don't go to over the top. Everyone should reply to this message as well to list what army there'll be palying.. but of course not your actual list.

I'll be playing chaos marines for sure, possibly with daemon allies. I'll have to work with my points a bit first to see what I can come up with. But definitely one of those above.

No pure Khorne daemons? But that was fun!! Ask Robin how his daemon prince likes the warp storm tables.

CSM || No Allies!

Gonna be a lot of CSM in this one, and no FW? i'm going in without mah crutches boyz!

Tom and I have our points available reversed between this one and hunters totals. Which is correct.

Whoops.. sorry guys.. ill fix it.up. After i had to repost i went from memory which is never a good idea.

Yeah.. me and Beau played all khorne daemons vs. all khorne daemons.. i was complaining to beau how much the warpstorm table hates me.. and it didnt let down. First roll... dead daemon prince.. he also had +1 w, Iwnd, and soul eater... !

So much csm... Mike when are you available to flame my troops...er play a game?

When would be a good day for you, Robyn? I still have to toy around with points a bit, but I think I might hop on the CSM band wagon for this event, too.

I'll also note that I'm not bringing a Helturkey, as I have yet to sit down and do that conversion. And I just might be looking to max out my elites slot...

I'll be playing Tau, as per the usual.

I am considering bowing out of this one. I've spent the last couple of days at home fighting a stupidly awful cold. So this weekend I won't be able to get a game in. So that means the earliest Beau and I could probably get our game in would be next friday/Saturday?

Sunday should be fine. I think my orks will come out again. I don't know about that shokk attack gun though haha

Vacuum!

If it makes things any easier for scheduling, Mondays and Tuesdays are generally unavailable due to work, Wednesdays would have to be in the evening at the earliest (again, work), and Thursday thru Sunday is pretty open most of the time.

Draigowing is fine by me.
