I have noticed that some, but not all, of this block of text made it into the escalation league post in the Code Magenta forum. Is all of this supposed to be over there, or did the items that were omitted in that other post intentional?

That was my suggestion, Robyn made the call for changes (which are reasonable).

Main difference is now you can't take something like a Pred or LR, albeit at reduced effectiveness.

Yup.. pretty much. I dont know why they went with the "counts as" format instead of just skipping them. At 400 points.. even some centurions with a 3+ save would be pretty awesome. Either way.. its just for a couple weeks so still a ton of options.. take something different every time you play!

So I paid $5 to Dragon's Den for the new league already...Beau, you can just throw the additional $5 in to the mat fund...

As for the league...are we a go to just start setting up games using the ruleset posted?

To clarify, are we starting with the 400 point armies discussed in this post or the 750 point discussed in the Escalation post? I'm confused.

We had 6 guys out tonight for the first league games!

Some ferocious battles. I think everyone can agree though that I must be marked by the dark gods... Those warp storm rolls were "devilish"

I've been on a crazy streak for the Shokk Attack gun... got the double 6 first turn two games in a row now. Now if only it would hurt something.
