Furioso Librarian Dreadnought
Psychic Pilot Mastery Level 2
FA 13 SA 12 RA 10
Force Weapon, Dreadnought Close Combat Weapon
175pts
Wondering if with the new way Psychic function and the new vehicle damage chart, if this guy will be any better... May actually have to give it a try...
Generates powers from Bio, Daemon, Telekinesis, telepathy, Divination... I'm going to have to read through all the powers (Haven't yet) to see what would work best for it... Not sure if Biomancy is a good choice for it... Hmmm....

Re: Furioso Librarian Dreadnought
invisible anything is good. especially if he can cast it himself...
also.. adding 2 to your power pool for whatever points it adds on the dreadnought might not be a bad buy. hes a mana/dispell battery as long as hes alive, even if he doesn't cast any spells.

Oh shit, that's right. Has a Psy Hood as well (I think)....
Mastery 2 base. No extra points except the +50 to "become" a librarian dreadnought. Cannot take any other dreadnought wargear.
Oh man, invisibility... That would be SICK on this thing, and yea, unless its mastery level 3, he can cast it himself.

ML for powers isn't required. Just the number of successes you need.

Even better.
I'm wanting to try a list with Mephy and a Lib Dread in it now.

Well... 1 Attack at AP 2...
Still, WS7, not much he can't hit on 3's...
The only other evil one would be invis... but anything getting Invis becomes awesome

Doesn't smash still make all your attacks AP2 without trading?

cool sidenote, you dont have to take the primaris if you roll the same power twice. you can roll on the table again until you get a different power. you do still have the option but it means you dont have to get stuck with life leech and smite in biomancy

Life Leach on Mephy isn't bad either.
I mean, 5 wounds, T6 (or 9 if I get iron arm), and then the ability to regen any wounds he *may* lose. Shit, he could toe to toe with a Wraithlord/knight....
And all attacks at AP2... EVEN BETTER BABY *evil laugh*
I forgot that, confusing it with Vector strike... Str6 AP3, or if I get that power, Str9 AP2... yep. Amazeballs.

Though you can now shoot both of those in the psychic phase without limiting your traditional shooting or charge targets, so getting "stuck" with those aren't as bad as before.

Finally a nice boost to Blood Angels. I'm guessing you'll be moving to a more psychic based force soon, Matt?

Plus Meph carries a MW Plasma Pistol... so something else he can pew pew when he draining lifes
Ginger - maybe. I have to do something to compete. All my lists are the same, and playing has been pretty boooring for me lately. 7th def added a change up.
I probably will *not* use a traditional Libby, as a lvl 2 one would cost me 125pts base w/o special gear where a DA lib is WAY cheaper, and has better gear options. But I only need to wait a few more months or so, and I'll be on par again.
Until then, I probably will be building around Meph at least, and like I said, probably a Lib dread just to *see*.

Re: Furioso Librarian Dreadnought
iron arm + endurance + invisibility.
Str/T 9, smash, fnp 4+, EW and only hit on 6's. that's brutal in every sense. need to hit him with a D weapon just to kill him!
oh wait, snap fire and only hit on 6's... that wont work...
