Seems like fun.

I'm still thinking they have potential. Lots changed but so many options opened with cheaper monsterous creatures.

Jy2 had a good game against Reece's Taudar list.

He stuck a Zoo in a Bastion and took the primaris, giving an 18" Synapse.

Bid his time, protecting his units, until it was time to strike. Well played.

I dunno. It was really only close because of that center piece of LOS blocking terrain. Not every board is going to have one of those to hide behind for the whole game. Without that (and if Reece had moved out of his castle earlier like he mentioned) it would have been a horrible "fish in a barrel" situation.

I think the 'Nid book isn't terrible, just disappointing that it could have been much better than it is.
