CSM Suppliment next month!

First... The bad news. Tau Suppliment digital release this month, hardcover release in... October?

Apparently, CSM is getting a Suppliment next month. And it's.... Black Legion http://natfka.blogspot.ca/2013/07/black-legion-codex-supplement.html#more

Should be interesting if it comes to pass. It'd be amazing if they dropped chosen CSM by what... 6 pts/model and gave the Rhino's assault? I dunno how they'll implement that army??? Should be good from a fluff PoV

I thought the army presented in C:CSM was more or less Black Legion already. Personally, I'd find the other legions and things like the Night Lords more interesting over all. Or even Iron Warriors, they're known for all their siege tech and being lousy with oblits.

It would be an odd choice.. But ill take it !

choosing black legion first is tantamount to admitting that they fubared some rules. if black legion gets assault rhinos, i can almost guarantee you that the C:SM book will have an assault variant as well. because right now the metal bawkses are almost useless and GW has got to have seen that their rhino kit sales are at an all time low.

I'd be down for a Black Mechanicus one where Heldrakes droped metal bawkes on people when they came on the board. Sure, it's not assault, but it's a rhino where you want it, maybe crushing a few guys when it comes in.

I imagine its much cheaper to put out these supplements, so we can cross our fingers and hope that the god specific legions get attention. you know there are tons of guys out there that want to run all of them. Night lords and iron warriors are also favorites of mine as well.

Any other legion would have been a better choice, although iron warriora and word bearersare pretty well represented as well.

I'd expect mandatory VotLW... Possibly a mechanic to allow diff marks in one squad. I'd love if Termies where made playable.

Assault rhinos would be sweet. I think it's wishlist tho. We can expect some force org shenanigans, a new warlord chart, maybe a tweaked HQ.

i think the difference is that in most cases. keanu had just realized something mind blowing, Joey's woahs were more like "i have no idea what is going on here"

Joeys were interchangeable for.all his emotions.. Keanu's were devoid of.all emotion. That might be a reflection of his acting thouhh. And i do love me some Keanu movies.

Im disappointed they decided to start there with Chaos. On the other hand, atleast they gave Chaos something so its not all bad. And i am disappointed no Farsight Enclaves book till possibly October?!!? Unacceptable! Oh well, atleast it will let me focus on my Iyanden for now haha

I think as much as everyone want assaulting out of rhinos there not a lot of hope for it. I doubt that will happen. Chosen terminators would be sweet. An Abbadonwing army would be neat to see.

Medic one could be cool if it gave a FnP bubble around it....not exactly sure how useful an Armour Recovery Rhino would be.

There is another page (much older) talking about a new Mini-Dread unit for the marines. Sounded kinda like a small Dreadknight, but still a walker....AV 11, 5++ save, 2 Fist (or other weapons), and possible jump pack option. So, pretty much Killa Kan's for Space Marines....

I'd be down for the Inspiring Aura bit on Dreads. It follows similarly to how GK Dreads re-enforce the Aegis near by them, and makes it (generally) so you are less prone to just leaving a Dread in the back field going "dakka dakka dakka".

not going to solve the dread problem without giveing them a savings throw. the reason they dont get up into combat anymore is that they are so fragile and get glanced down to small arms fire or grenades... and necrons =  

I still find it hilarious how a Scout Sentinel, of all things, managed to bog down my Plague Marines for something like 5 consecutive rounds of melee. Especially since the Plague Champion had the Instant Death melee weapon boon or some such.

A wishlist for me would be to give dread's a Skyfire upgrade....not just flakk missles, but a "Targeting" upgrade that allow them to shoot flyers at full BS.

It's called a Forge World Mortis Dread. 5 points to give a rifleman skyfire and interceptor. Dark Angels only....

But yeah, something similar on regular dreads would be nice
