Daemons next month

Apparently Daemons are coming next month, hardcover codex and all.

Back-to-Back 40k codexes... crazy.

I can't see myself buying one, unless it can drastically repair my Chaos book (which is possible...)

With them being battle brothers, if thye have ANYTHING that would allow them to home in on an icon and assault off DS..... problem FIXED.

Same rumormill said plasma attack bikes, a plasma pred, and a New master of the forge for DA.

Lets hope daemonic assault is no longer a thing.
I'd model them after a deathwing/ravenwing army TBH.
lots of deep strike, lots of cover saves. etc.

well. they got most of those things... just not exactly.
they got plasma talons...
they got a giant plasma speeder...
and the fluff plugs a dude into the rock as a pilot... who is supposed to be a big deal, but is really just jumped up OnStar.

A codex a month would be awesome if they could keep it up.

going to have to slip in some warhammer and Hobbit stuff or the natives will get restless.

I'm starting to believe that GW has realized that these quick releases are necessary to get the game into a somewhat playable situation. 6th edition is shiney and new, and only 2-3 dex's are worth playing, because they dont have the tools to deal with the shiney new toys the other books have. a lot of unrest out there. if veteren players like tim and gluvz are ready to just say ... meh ....with all that's been invested, it cant be isolated. i know i've felt the same way, depending on the day.

Bah.. Ive got a handful.of flamers but thats it.

Anything that comes down the pipe will be a boost for me.. Bloodletters and daemonettes are just so bad.right now.. Itl be nice to see a boost of some sort.

And by nad i just mean damn hard to get into assault. 5+ save with all the shooting now is hard to wade through. I lkke plaguebearers but theyre so boring horrors are great still

I could see supplimenting my Chaos with a Herald and some Horrors (assuming flamers get nerfed). I'd like to see
1) New Models for Pink & Blue Horrors
2) Back to the old rules when killing a pink horror split him into two blue horrors.

Edit: The plaguebearers on giant flies rumour sounds pretty cool.

Flamers with 1 wound and a 4+ save would of been fine at 23 points i think.. Especially after getting the.wall of death rule for their breath. Ive never used a screamer.

I dont mind daemons right now actually.. but updating chariots, cavalry units etc. Would be nice.

I would hope that the Chaos Codex gets improved by way of the Daemon codex, and that they were designed to be used hand-in-hand.

Maybe there's some psychic shenanigans to make Forgefiends and Defilers worth 200pts. (Increase the armour on a friendly vehicle by 1 on all sides, warp charge 1).... i dunno

Wasn't this demons dex for warhammer fantasy?
I know that some things are useable between editions/games, but the pit of my gut says that there will be no direct 40k rules in the demon dex next month....

the rumor going is that it is a duel 'dex just like the update was.

Actually.. Faeit has said its two completly different new army books.. One for fantasy, one for 40k.

Just read dakkadakka and bols, seems rumors are wrong. Apparently its warriors of chaos scheduled for feb.

Bols just posted up pictures of some new models.. They look damn compared to thw 40k crap we got.

Dragon ogres, the two beasts, chariots all look nice. That Henticle thimg.in particular looks chaosy and nasty

kinda... odd. 40k, they just about expunge all daemons from the CSM codex... fantasy, so many beasts and dragons and such that look very "daemony". just a totally different mindset.

Nice that the fantasy stuff gets a near full upgrade but.the 40k stuff.is left with scrap picked up off thw floor.. Hehe.

Were the new units that just came out for warriors of chaos just white.dwarf.updates? The khorne flying lady and nurgle sorceror guy.. Vulkia and Festus or.something like that.. Oh yeah, bloodcrusher cavalry, slaneesh cavalry and the war altar... Thats right. I remember getting the update pamphlet in the dwarf but dont remembwr seeing the characters.
