unless the rest of them are super-cheap i don't see any point in making an over-costed unit more expensive.

I am thankful that Someone at GW is thinking of CSM. I'de much rather just have a 6.5 codex that includes the FAQ, nerfs the Heldrake and incorporates some much needed revisions or additions. Take what i can get i suppose.

We'll see when it lands.

Rumour has it USR upgrades are bought for the whole unit at once. "Fear" being the cheapest at 5 points for the unit, + 1 point per model for VotLW. So 15 points for a unit of 10 dubers.

Infiltrating Plasma guys (2 guns 1/2 pistols)

Tank Hunting 4xAutocannons 120 base for the squad with VotLW before any tank hunters "upgrade"

It does sound interesting. Berserkers could never infiltrate in the old editions.. but i woukd like that option. Fleet would be.copl to.. and i wouldnt have to worry about that icon.

I m still way more interested in getting some scoring bikes/raptors or TERMINATORS. Thatd be exciting Smile

Infiltrating marines is really appealing though.. coupled with.cultists you got yourself an lld style alpha legion army. Exactly the army i was building before it dissapeared Smile

My brother was going to play Alpha legion. Tested the rules out in a couple of games. Best moment ever was during a bunker assault. He was the attacker and I was defending with my Black Templars. He infiltrated up and had first turn so moved close so second turn he could melta all my bunkers. I proceed to pile out of all the bunkers and bum rush him "its a trap"! Good times.

I dunno about the supplement though. Some of the options are good, but going to cut into a lot of points by having to give everything VotLW. Although guaranteed 20 man infiltrating/stubborn blobs is funny without having to take Huron.

Also looks like shred is just melee Mark  Crying or Very sad

Does effectively upgrade a power sword to the same effectiveness as a pair of lightning claws.

It would help alot if they put it back to a hull mounted weapon.. and not a turret. Im not complaining at all.. it just might help acceptance.
