Playoffs - Spring Edition

@Dusktiger: When you up for a game? Could you do sometime Mon-Thur afternoon?

first of all, i'd like to say, woot! made it to playoffs for the first time! as for available days, i only get Saturdays for play time. anything outside of that's impossible for me with my work schedule and babysitting.

Won't be able to play till next week, but any night othe than friday and saturday will work of me, and as a side note, my first time in the league and I make the play offs, and people say guard suck.

I played guard almost this whole league and they have been doing amazing

The epic Wolves vs Daemons/Chaos battle is complete, with Daemons/Chaos taking the big "W". Thanks for the game Dan. I look forward to facing Andrew or Trevor in the Semi's.

Me and mike are lined up for sometime on the coming Wednesday.

I hate the way i wasn't on there :(oh well I only played one game and loss not a big deal

Round one went to Mike!  A shame things weren't able to start sooner, and I still feel kind of bad for that perfect storm of 2 Las Cannons, 2 Plasma Cannons, and an Orbital Strike Relay all getting Prescience and Perfect Timing cast on them on turn one.  That Night Scythe sure did take it's sweet time showing up, though.

Mike and Adam.. did you guys your game in? I saw you were trying to shcedule for the past weekend so wanted to double check.

Not your fault that the game conspired to give you an idiotic confluence of psychic powers Tom. just happy circumstance.  have to forgive me for my minor pity party there   just super frustrating to have two games in a row where first round night fight completely favored my opponents shooting phase, and completely fucked me over.

Game felt very much in your hands for the first few turns, i just got a couple lucky stuns on your chimera to stop the hemoraging while waiting out the time limit camping objectives.

MVP of the game: 60 point chaos sorcerer passing its mind-shackle test and knocking the head off the D-lord with its Force-Stave. first time in two years that I've passed a mind-shackle test. 

i'm not sure splitting him from the wraiths is a good idea. i understand why you did it, but the two compliment one another so well, i think you would have been better served weathering one turn of fire from the single oblit and have your d-lord help your wraiths beat down the other set.

The Initial plan was last Saturday but we had to put it off to this Saturday.

I think spiting in that case was the right call, as that Vendetta needed to die before it caused more damage to my side of the table.  We never did check to see if he stood back up, though.  The 33% chance for get back up is one of the reasons I don't mind sending him on suicide runs.  Wraiths did do rather poorly against the oblits, though.  That Dreadknight got eviscerated, though.

might have to have a re-match on a thursday or something. lot of odd things going on in that game beyond the time limit.
