I think this list is quite playable. Three respectable scoring options. Forgefiends do a lot in this list. The hellbrutes will kill things, and some tzeenchy lovin'. Although, the last time I boon'd a guy to death.

by shooting the crap out of everything!!!

with a list like this, you're not going for mobility. its clearly a firebase list where you're going to force an opponent to come to you, and do so through alot of hurt. any list that's walker heavy has to be played like that.

the list is pretty rockin mark. do you have the models for it yet, or just testing ideas out?

But the list doesn't have much shooting. It's got a bunch of range 24" plasma, and a few AP4 guns. I'm not really seeing it, but maybe it will be better in practice than in (my) theory. I think it will struggle to play to missions. It has no assault (a couple tarpits) element, no speed, a big non-fearless cultist mob, and another troop unit that is easily removed. I'd be happy to help you test it though Mark, and I'll be the first one to admit it if I'm wrong.

Hell brutes will do some shooting. The one rhino will try and go midfield. The brutes are pretty killer in close combat if they get there. The list would be about midfield control and a fair amount of BS3 S8 shooting that's respectably resilient.

If I had the points, I'd drop some spawn in there. It does lack mobility, which is a problem against good generals.

I think this demonstrates the challenge of writing a pure chaos list.

To play this, I only need two more Forge fiends. Although, if I took two mauler fiends instead... I'd have points for a unit of Spawn.
