1500 Chaos Orks!

Basically a shooty army with a large unit of Boyz to dominate midfield while the CSM tanks disassemble the opposition. 2 mekboys loota friends hang out behind the aegis defense line with the predators, repairing hull points and shooting stuff. double nurgle sorcs in temy armor move around where necessary, one perhaps providing counter charge support for the orks. CSM units sit on objectives and plink away with las/plas.

2nd list doesn't work.

Big Mek only allows one Deff Dread to be taken as a troops choice.

I like the idea, but I'd be tempted to take a Warboss on a bike with Nob Bikers, a Waaagh Banner, and a Painboy. That'd be a beefy allied unit.

Also, the Warboss in a BattleWagon with a small contingent of Nobz is pretty killer. When I did that against you, it worked not bad, I just had too many Nobz in the unit, I think it's most optimal around 5 (needs moar testing)

Edit: Upgrade your Mek's to Big Shootas for Free or Rokket Launcha's for 5 pts. Losing a Mek Boy to a to-hit roll of '1' is teh suk.

No points for any upgrades on the mek. everything is fairly tight here. Hence so much melta and no plasma, just not enough points to go around. big mek was just 35 throwaway points so that i could field dreads as troops.

But since I'm a big cheater on the 2nd Deff Dread the list is invalid. I'll mess with it.

Honestly though, the battle wagon or bike nobs wound allocation shenanigans units just hold no interest for me. This goes for paladins, or anything Tyson would play either. Its too much record keeping for my tastes.

I understand what your saying about them being a beefy ally unit. but they don't seem to be supported well with other assault units. In your list, the rest of your army was shooting based, so once the orks were killed, there was no down field threat, and in my list, they could be supported by the princes, but the Dreads in the list would be left in the dust, I think.

Not sure what your saying about having Less nobz. They got unlucky vs my oblits. otherwise those three nobz would have been like a fox in a henhouse in my backfield. If you had had less of them, they would have got shot up even faster. maybe two smaller units of nob Bikers? Redundancy is king.
