I would be scared of those oblits. It looks like a fun and strong list.


I don't play chaos marines but what comes on a defiler?

They come stock with a battlecannon, reaper autocannon, twin linked heavy flamer and I think 2 dreadnaut close combat weapons... The ccw might be totally wrong sitting bored to death at work ATM.

K if i were playing now i know what they have(defiler) I would be scared of your heavy support section

Who's the terminator lord going to hang out with? There's no dedicated CC unit for him to rip stuff up with. At any rate, Kharn > him, even with his mark of Tzeentch making him a wee bit more survivable. Kharn simply kills stuff... a lot. That does mean that he'll want some berzerkers to go with, as that's what he kills stuff the most with.

I don't understand the usage of the terminators. Powerfist terminators = fail, as an dedicated assault unit they're severely lacking. It's a pity the CSM codex can't produce any TH/SS terminators.

Lord
- upgrade the lord to have a demon weapon, the Tz one is totally worth it

Termies
- Uprade powerfist to chainfist in the reaper squad and take out the combi melta
- Drop the powerfist in the other squad and make all 3 combi melta

The first squad your lord goes with, if they come in early put them close to the enemy line, If later I've had decent luck pegging rear armour 10 with the reaper. Plus they are all geared differently for wound allocation shinanigans. Second squad is a straight termicide unit

Defiler
- swap the reaper and flamer for more ccw as you cant shoot them and the battlecannon anyway

currently the lord sits with one of the squads and they deepstrike behind enemy lines to peg whatever heavy armor they can. the setup is more or less a all comers squad able to draw lots of fire.
