Apoc can be lots of fun, IF you approach it with the right attitude.
I meant that more for the league comment. No one has the time to play apoc games every week.
Plus I just don't personally like it.

Apoc games are fun from time to time.. I love em.

3000 pts. 1 form/legendary unit max. remainder must fit into std foc.

Re: 6th Initial Thoughts
out of the....what, 30, 35, robyn?...people that play regularly, i think maybe only 10 or so could play fast enough to push out a 3000pt game in an friday evening at the den.
but that said, i think people might enjoy it if we did a monthly dude vs dude apoc game where we setup a table at the den and the rest of us can wander in and watch on a friday evening/saturday. you'd need about that much time anyway, and seeing that many 'finished', 'painted' models on the table in formations could go a long way to enticing people to get into the hobby.
but that should wait til we're all familiar with the new rules.

Looks like the "40k approved" stuff will at least be useable in the near future.
Word is faqs are coming that implicitly state that stuff stamped are to be considered part of the codexes, as well as the upcoming "aeronautica" book having listings for all the armies to update them with flyers and anti AA of their very own to hug and squeeze and love and call them George.
