2000pts on the dot!

My thoughts: Cato gives Scout/Outflank to the Sternguard in the rhino (or any other USR he sees fit for the fight at hand). Pretadors give a strong firebase in backfield. Scouts sit tight (where depends on army faced). The Tacticals and Terms give a midfield push with lots of melta and hammers. The Speeder deepstrike or start on table as necessary. Oh! and I ALWAYS go first with Cato's re-roll for stealing th initiative (2 for 2 ON the re-roll now lol!)

Thoughts? Comments?

I like, although Cato only can only use "Battle forged heroes" on a tactical squad.

Damn! Need to rethink. That's what I get for typing out during break-time at work without a codex. Sad

And for the record in previous games using him I was giving outflank to a 5 man tactical squad in a RB w/twin-linked HF and fist, bombs, combi-melta for the serg. Maybe I'll go back to that instead of the sternguard (but I like them so..).

Why not make that switch, except leave off the melta bombs. Then you can upgrade your scout sarge to Telion.

I was looking thru the INAT Faq... pg. 83: Telion gives the whole squad Stealth?? Does not compute.

@Roland - Yah, I took advantage of the Telion rule at the team tourny. And besides, he was awsome! Except for the first game when his whole squad got direct hit by 2 Colossus.

@Mike - The problem with the old list is the Scouts and Storm. They work awsomely once, then everybody figures them out, or should have, then they turn into a liability and give my opponent 2 free kill points. They take advantage of bad play or just suck, which I'm disapointed with because I like the 'idea' of the unit. Otherwise this list is very similar.

Had a game against Ryan K. last night and really enjoyed the list I used. I had a TON of luck on my side though, but still thought the army preformed really well:

I think this could be a good list but you would have to be very good on tactics. I find the MM HF land speeders are a one or two turn play. and very really achieves its objectives. But with the preds they do give the enemy a few more things to shoot at, and could lay down some awesome power. Would be interesting to a battle report on this list.
