Large scale apocolypse game

The title pretty much says it all!

Basically, after picking recieving Apocolypse reloaded for christmas, I'm pondering umpiring for a storydriven, large scale apocolypse game in the new year, complete with multiple boards and possibly even a prize at my expense!

That said, I'm basically just gauging intrest at the moment. Seeing who is wanting to join, seeing who if anyone can bring extra terrain from home (To make it special!) and so forth. No intrest, no problem, but I'm pretty sure we can get a goodly number of people.

Aiming for mid to late January, subject to people's schedules.

I ma interested. If we cna agree on a time where I am not working, I am good to go.

I'd be interested in playing a game like this, a big friendly apoc match will probably get me motivated to do some major painting.

Alrighty, I'm just off to bed for a nap after boxing day shopping, but I thought I'd give a heads up to people before I did.

It's still open for anyone who is looking, and I'm thinking it'll probably be late january/early febuary that I run this. That said, what I'm seeing so far is:

Jim - Guard
Randy - Nid
Terran (I suck with names) - Eldar
Joe - ???
Tyson - Dark Eldar
Zack - Orks

Needless to say, I hate my life sometimes, can't any of you play the same freakin race!!! ^_^

put simply no its apoc so we have to make this as annoying as possible for you

you have me down as ?, I can play eldar, marines, or daemons in any point amount.

I will have to see the decided date but I'll put my nids in, no apoc units sadly but lots of other stuff. I also got a small (2kish) force of chaos marines.

Simple: Joe can play marines, i'll play Inquisition/guard,and we'll defend ourselves from the hordes of xeno scum.

if needed, we could probably come up with a fair reason why eldar would be helping, and add Reagan to the good guys team.

So while we're at it, I have a few apocalypse-sized questions.. They're both 'in general' regarding apocalypse, and more specifically aimed (at adam) at how we will be playing them for this game.

I know that you can't choose the same Strategic asset twice, but things I've read online have lead me to beleive that you can get them through formations AND through choosing them. (IE you could take Orbital bombardment and a command formation that gives it and be able to call two in a game).

Presuming this is correct(Is it?)...

If you take different formations that give the same asset, would you receive it multiple times?
Could you take the same formation twice? If so, do you get the assets twice?
For Multiplayer games, do formations provide the asset only for the use of the player who controls them, or for the team?

sure you can have multiples. Things only get overpowered when a single army (player) can combine strategems together...

Once again, sorry for the rampent delays. I've been kind of vedging out for the last few days trying to recharge my batteries after christmas. Anyways, on to updates!

I'm gonna give until January 6th for any late arrivals. And after that we're mostly set in stone.

I'm going to wait until January to decide the scenario, Mostly because I want to know the races I'm working with, so as to make it fluffy as can be.

Finally, As to the date. It will either be the week of January 20-27, Or Febuary 3-10th, depending on how that works with everyone else's scheduling. Ideally it'll be a weekend, but I can run it basically anytime within those weeklong periods. If this doesn't work for everyone, we'll try and find a work around. =)

You can count me in for a small space wolf force but the date would be a big factor me with work. I would have to try to get the time off or schedule around it. As a result I cant promise to be there untill everything is set up and I know far enough in advance of the times.

Guess I should mention that if I were to show up, it would have to be on a weekend, and that I would bring MORE NIDS! Also, I might be able to talk John into coming as well, if I knew in advance enough.
