Check out the skill in this big scale marine being built. It blows me away. Unfortunately it does the OPPOSITE of inspire me as I look at that, then my own meager creations and cry at the work my fat ugly hands have done.....

I just wanted to dig this thread up again because that guy finished his marine. There's an EPIC sized WIP thread in the forum of CoolMiniorNot.com but here's the guys finished product. It's amazing. And just for those that don't wanna check out the WIP thread, it's virtually scratchbuilt. The tyranid at his feet is sculpted, a lot of the detail is cut brass, it's amazing.

Yeah, there are bigger models out there.. but none done with the precision of this one. If you get a chance to go through his guide on how he made some of the stuff, it's crazy.

And then he had to go and paint it ike that.. ugh. That was an ugh of awe by the way.. sickened that he could sculpt, model and paint like that all at once..
