PAWG tourney followup + pix!
Well I hope everyone had a good time at the tournament on sunday! I had a good game against Dana, with some crazy wackiness near the end
So does anybody have any comments/criticism? Any scenarios people enjoyed/hated? I used suggestions from last year's tourney to tweak the point values and # of games to be played, and I think it worked out better this time. I was able to finish all the games I played, how bout everyone else?
Onto some pictures! Dustin was taking a bunch of pics as well, but I'm waiting for him to get them to me yet.

Re: PAWG tourney followup + pix!
WAAAAAYYYY too many pictures of world eaters
All the scenarios are great. There are so many that I have played at least 1 new one each time (I think there may be a few I havent even played yet). To be honest I think we should steal some of those scenarios for our league
I have to say I am torn between playing big point games and having 4 round tournaments. I like both, but of course there can be only one or the other. Maybe we can run a smaller point tourney with 4 rounds...

I think a good idea for a tounie would be a team tournament. 2-man teams with 500-750 points each. i think that would be pretty fun.

Yeah! We finally have enough people kicking around who play to do one of these again

I'd totally be down with that. Or would I be up for it? No, I'd be all over that.
Now I just need someone to organize a team tournie.....

Nope, no criticism from this fella, I had a great time as usual. The armies are looking good from the guys in town and everyone was pretty friendly. I think there was a few complaints regarding one of the players, but you can't avoid that.. thats happened with every tourney ever ran for 40K.
I think a team tourney would be alot of fun.. and definitely something worth looking into. 5 tables at the den would be doable, and could house 20 guys (2 per team, 4 per table). I'll look to get a two man tourney set-up shortly.
As for a bigger one, Paz is checking into a venue and Ill run it past Darren regarding Maguires.

Glad to hear it was a success. There's some pretty cool-looking armies in the pics. Love the chaos dreanought conversion and the Empire militia guardsmen!

Nice pic's. Look's like it was a good time. Stash, your figs are actually based with something other than unpainted woodchips - nice, look's good.
So, who won what?
