Try to bring 3 Objectives, and a way to "mark" them (dice are fine).
If you have Tactical Objective Cards, bring those, we'll be using them for one mission.
Bring something to track your Warlord Trait & Psychic Powers for the day.  (see below)

Missions & Schedule

9:45 - 10AM Registration & Pre-Mission
 --  Roll your Warlord Trait for your Warlord, this will be your trait for the entire day.  You may re-roll your trait one additional time.  (So up to two re-rolls should your detachment allow you to re-roll your trait).  This is to balance out the fact that you don't get to re-generate during the day.
 --  Generate your psychic powers, as per the rules (review the rules if your taking psykers).  Each Psyker may re-roll one die during power generation.  These powers last for the entire day.
 --  Once these tasks are done, you'll be slotted into a matchup and are good to go.

10AM -> 12:15 Round 1
 --  Kill Points, Nightfight Turn 1, Long Table Edge deployement (12" on)  EZPZ.  Ties broken by Slay the Warlord, if still tied, Tie broken by First Blood.

12:15 -> 12:45 Lunch Break

12:45 -> 3:00PM  Round 2
 -- D3+2 Objectives, No Nightfight, Short Table Edge deployment (24" on, 24" apart).  First Blood, Slay the Warlord, Line Breaker.  Objectives are not Mysterious.

3:15PM -> 5:45PM Round 3
 -- 6 Objectives, Marked 1-6 |  Nightfight turn 5+ |  Old school table quarter deployment, 12" from the center.  Tactical Objectives,  Generate 3 on your first turn.  If you hold less than 3 active cards the start of any turn, generate cards until you have 3.  You may discard one at the end of your turn.  First Blood, Slay the Warlord, Line Breaker.   Objectives marked "1" and "6" are Mysterious.

-- Roll off to select who Deploys First.  The player who deploys first may select to go first or second.  The player who is going second, may attempt to seize.
-- Remember, Warlord Traits and Psychic Powers are pre-generated for the day.

This is a self running event, as such, there is no dedicated "Tournament Organizer".  We'll be bringing a Match tree and fill in names as people arrive.

 Best Painted (As Judged by Al, thanks Al!)
 Best Army (As judged by attendee secret ballot, put your name and then your vote, no voting for yourself)

- You may only take one of each "unit" in your faction.  (A Squadron is still a unit, EG: 4 Killa Kanz taken as a single unit)
- You may take a 2nd identical troops choice after you have taken 1 of all available troop choices
- You may take a 2nd *Dedicated Transport* after you have taken 1 of all available *Dedicated Transports*
         --- - Exception:  Maximum 1 Waveserpent
         --- - Exception:  Maximum 1 Ghost Ark, 1 Night Scythe
         --- - Exception:  Maximum 2 Drop Pods as long as a Rhino and Razorback are taken (No Landraider Required)
         --- - Clear as mud?
- You may not take a Gargantuan Creature or Super Heavy Vehicle (Walker or Tank)
- You *MAY* take a character Lord of War (Bring it, Mephiston, Ghazkull, etc....)
- Your army must be Battle-Forged

Warlord Traits & Psychic Powers will be rolled for at the beginning of the day and persist through the entire event without future rolls required.  Bring pen & paper to keep track of what these are.  The only way this would not apply if there is a faction specific reason for it to be different.  EG:  Zandrek picking a new trait mid-game, Summoned Daemons, etc...

Data slates and units from deathstorm allowed? I hope so. I'm not buying scouts.

Data Slates that do not violate the Highlander Rule are allowed.

Examples:

Tau Firebase Support Cadre: Not allowed, as it has two units of Broadsides.
Reclaimation Legion: Allowed, as it only doubles up on Necron Warriors after it takes a unit of Immortals and Necrons only have two troop choices.

About the troop choices, For IG armies 1 platoon command and 2 squads make up the min for one troop choice If I do that am I good with the min or do you want me to max each squad out (witch would be 1 plat com 4 squads 1 con 3 heavy) Before I can take a second troop choice.

This is a very loosely organized event without anyone diligently checking the validity of your list. It's probably not the right event for you to signup for.

IF I do attend my list wont be an issue. hell probably the only issue ill have is trying to figger out this new pysker phase for the frist time, like I said only pick up the new rule book a few days ago.

Dom, you're not making a strong case for yourself here.

And not am I trying to. The fact is I haven't played 7th Ed yet and I cant improve if I don't play. That's my point.

This isn't a good event to learn in, it's largely unstructured and self-policing.  There will not be a roving organizer to help you with rules.  You are not permitted to play in this event.  Try and get some games in on your own time or play in a larger event with a dedicated organizer.  That's my last point on this.
