I have a few new big Tyranid builds in the works so here is where I will put them.

First up, I was going through the new IA:4 bugs and was all "ZOMG MALANTHROPE" so I went and made one.

I was about to ask if you were going to give it a tentacle face, but then I scrolled down and you already did.  Good stuff.

Happy to see that it's rules got it updated into a much more useful beast now.  I hope I'll get a chance to face it down on a table soon.

I am kinda curious as to what that white stuff you used is, though.

The white stuff is balls of tinfoil hotglued onto the body, and then a layer of tissue paper is applied with thinned down white glue. It gives it a really neat texture that way. It looks like shite right now, but once painted it looks super cool. It's the same technique I used on my tervigon.

Some other WIPish stuff. Some meiotic spores I've had lying about and figured I may as well use em. Nothing special here, no conversions, just need paint. Not entirely sure how battlefield effective they will be, but too much possibility for Lulz to not try.




Hive Crone WIP. Working toward partial Nid flying circus with my winged tyrant, existing harpy, and this guy. Toss some gargs in there buddy, you got a primordial soup going.
