6th in the series of overviews, a brief intro to the armies of infinity.


HAQQISLAM: WE GOT THIS NOW


"Haqqislam, the New Islam, is a smaller power which possesses a single star-system only, Bourak. Separating itself from fundamentalism, Haqqislam bases its culture on an Islam which is humanist, philosophical and in continuous contact with nature. Biosanitary Science and Earthformation are the two major strengths of Haqqislam, which includes the best schools of medicine and planetology in the Human Sphere."

Haqqislam is basically the unified Islamic Arabic culture, unified under one governing body, on a single planet. Quite different to current day Islam, Haqqislam is a return to the heights of Islamic studies in technology and medicine, a bright light in a future darkening with the threat of war.
Haqqislam can be broken into a number of subsections in its armed forces:

Qapu Khalqi: The Sultanate's private militia of mercs and soldiers, these guys protect the trade routes of Silk (think of the Spice from Dune, and you would't be far off. Yep, Haqqislam are the Fremen).


Orbital/caravansaries: These are the trade guards who protect the orbital facilities of Bourak.


Ground forces: Multitudinous and diverse, Bourak has a range of cultural forces yoked under the will of the Sultanate.


Hassassin Bahram: The Hassassin are an elite force of assassins ruled by "the old man on the mountain" a figure wrapped in intrigue and mystery. It is unclear if the Hassassins fight for the Sultanate or their own, darker purposes.
