~Protect the Digestors! Tohaa Trident Overview and Tactica~

3rd in the series of overviews, a brief intro to the armies of infinity.

TOHAA: SPACE JERKS AND BIO-LIBRARIANS

The Tohaa are an advanced Humanoid alien species hell bent on defeating the EI. Only problem? they're losing. What do they need? A distraction! And Humans are a pretty darn good one at that.

The Tohaa are an old race that has developed around a biotechnological empire, fascinated by the number 3 in all forms. All parts of tohaa life revolve around this holy number, tohaa families are in threes, names are in threes, their squads are always in tridents; three man fire-teams!
The Tohaa are a guardian species for an ancient non-sentient race Called the Tzetchi-Digesters. These aliens record automatically everything they see or experience, and are immense. The Tohaa have been protecting Digesters against the EI for ages, for if the EI could grab a digester, they would be that much closer to transcendence.
This white-knighting didn't last for long though. Recently, a consortium of militaristic and rich Tohaa have secretly taken over the tohaa empire, and set about trying to use the digesters for new tech, and throwing humanity in front of the EI as a roadblock while they scramble to re-arm and militarize.
Tohaa are a very insular species, sameness is common, and can be seen in the uniformity of their units:

Kamael Light Infantry: light as she gets, glasscannon, these are your basic cheerleaders


Sakiel medium infantry: first unit to get bio-armor (think venom suits). fast, tough, dont like fire one bit (symbiote dies to fire sooo fast).


Ectros Heavy infantry: Heavy armor, heavy viral weapons. bigger, tubbier, scarier.


Gorgos TAG: The ultimate form of symbiote: so gross. Still weak to fire, but will crush face.


The Chaksa: The Tohaa do have a slave race, or as they call it, "exhalted species" which is their way of saying "speeding up a species advances and evolution so they fight for us."
