TAC marine list
So I have been thinking up a list that involves mostly tac marines.
I was thinking iron hands clan rockn roll
Basicaly 6 tacs units in rhinos with a tech marine /motf in each to soak wounds
Or
Raven guard , with scout those units would be in your face prety fast

at most, you'd only have 3 techs + the MotF, unless you take another HQ to unlock another 2 techs.

I think it needs some sort of punch to the Face unit. but maybe thats just me
the list your lookign for is doable at 1750. i would probably combat squad out so you have 12 units of marines, replace some of those plasma cannons with lascannons. then just put a 2+ dude in each unit and go for board control. use the rhinos to protect your models that are going for or sitting on objectives. if you challenge with the sarg, and then the tech marine you can delay most "stars" for two combats with each unit of Marines, so you can really bog down an assault force.
I think your going to get eaten up over the course of a game, but who knows?

is more than 1 techmarine per hq a clan raukaan thing? Cuz regular marines can only take a max of 2 under 2000 pts.

Yep, that's a Clan thing.
More specifically, if I remember right, 2 per HQ, or 3 per Master of the Forge.

You'll want to check out Reecius' list from Frontline Gaming. He did a 60 marine rush list with White Scars. I think in one version he added in some space wolves as well. It is an interesting concept since really marines are good against a lot of things if played correctly. That and white scars with khan gives you a crazy amount of mobility from a 12" scout if you're in a rhino. H&R is just gravy. I believe he was also playing around with Ultramarines and Marneus Calagar.

There's a couple of nice benefits to dudes in Rhino's (that you don't intend to assault with).
1) Rhino needs to be popped before the Heldrake Gets ya!
2) Mobility
3) Line of Site blocking
4) One round of D-Weapon immunity (in theory)
Edit: I'd be tempted to load up on Ironclads in drop pods... they're so good for Iron Hands. Although, IWND Rhino's is pretty cool too. || What about those hunter killer tank thingies?
