Team List - Advice

Hey Guys,

I am very much on the ropes with wanting to join a Tournament Setting, but the more I look at my Blood Angels the more I want to put them to use *sigh*

Anyways, since we have a unique meta, I want to post this to see what everyone's thoughts are on this list... Would it do well in a competative atmosphere...? Would it draw too much "Peer-aggro"....? Would I get beat up in the parking lot after....? LOL

Have a look-see:

Reclusiarch - Infernus Pistol - 145

Corbulo - 105

Assault x5 - PF, Melta - 135
Razorback - TL-HvyFlmr - 20
Death Company x8 - PW, PF/Bolter, 6bolters - 200
Drop Pod - 35

Predator - Autocannon, Heavy Bolters - 100

TOTAL - 740

I wouldn't worry about "peer-agro" you're not taking a dataslate or 2++ re-roll saves.

IMO, looks fine.

Also, Beau's setup kinda precludes all the ridiculous things (1HQ, 0-1 Elites, FA, Heavy, 2-3 Troops)

"Peer Agro" isn't as real as it looks on here. Most of it is humour lost in translation.

Looks pretty good to me. Blood Angles aren't high up on the power scale anymore thanks to things like the screamer-star and Eldar Codex. You can pretty much "power-game" them to the max and get away with it. Just gotta rely on getting into close combat and that may be tough against Tau or fast moving Eldar.

I'd play it.

Well... The Death company for the most part are Bolter geared. Coupling with their relentless rule they are evil bolter throwing boobs. I chose the chappy because, well... I have a chappy model I never use really And SHOULD the death company assault, he bolsters their CC pretty good (rerolls on hits/wounds on turn they charge).

My intention isn't to power game at all. I dislike deathstar units A LOT as I find it takes fun out of the game. I only try to death star myself sometimes in order to contend against someone I would know is taking a deathstar. Plus, deathstar units for me are evil points hogs, and I hate that. I actually call death stars "hinge" units. If you CAN manage to break it, the rest of their army falls apart.... Another reason I dont like hinge-deathstars.
