Kroot = win. They are my go to troop for 6th for Tau. With sniper rounds they can threaten just about anything. Are cheap enough to blob. Have decent special rules. Bubble wrap like a boss. The list just goes on.

Vespids are still overcosted. If they were a little bit cheaper, or had a little more oomph to them they'd be worth it. When you have stuff like riptides and dual-wielding suits having vespids seems like a bit of a waste of time. Unless you go crazy disruption and run a lot of stealth teams with Positional Relays so they can drop all over the place without scatter. Then they are meh to good based on opponent.

I'd still prefer an ethereal over a fireblade. The LD bubble plus powers is far superior imo. Also saves you the shas'ui upgrades.

Why the Blacksun Filter on the pathfinders? They going to be shooting their carbines instead of their markerlights?

I am all about the Fireblade, having an extra 12 shots in a blob squad of fire warriors is awesome. The blacksun filter is on the pathfinders because I had 1 point to spend.
