Gluvzer's projects
With the escalation league coming up I thought I'd take the opportunity to return to an old favorite of mine, Marines (with a new army of course, since my old Serpents are looking pretty dated). Here are a few of my test models for the Star Hawks Chapter. Their Chapter traits are Trust your Battle Brothers and Cleanse and Purify.
Test colour scheme. (Comments and Criticizms will of course be gladly accepted)
Some other random marines.

Looking good
Hey man, are you going with every marine having a scout head? Looking good, and if you do that I think you'll sure have a unique army on your hands.
Colors are look great. Lighter colored armies sure grab attention on the field, especially since everyone knows how difficult they can be to paint.

Re: Gluvzer's projects
That's the idea, go with a completely helmetless army. The scout heads I think give the old classic look to the marines. Not like the new bald look all the figs and artwork are going with now.

Yea those look really nice, and as the sustem commander mentioned, painting light colors is no easy feat.

Re: Gluvzer's projects
Holy smokes that librarian terminator is really nice. The whole terminator squad is really cool, using the scout heads gives them a very original look. Looks like you have been busy though, its gonna be a nice army when you are done. Hopefully only another 6 weeks until the codex
Re: Gluvzer's projects
What is with marines without helmets? Don't thier parents care about thier safety? They're going out into a warzone! They could easily get hit on the head!

Not so my friend. Have you ever seen The Last Dragon? They ripped part of the movie off of 40K! Yes, it's true.. it's not a well known fact, but space marines can catch bullets in their teeth..
On a lighter note, I believe that was Ryan's strategy for the army. No helmets, lots of scouts, and alot of weapon scopes for the troops. Kind of a recon army type of feel if Im not mistaken. That's the feel I'm taking off of it. It's looking super cool and definitely unique. Almost kind of has an Alpha Legion feel to it.. because alot of the regular troops all look alike and they are infiltrator'ish/recon sort of guys. (reference to the book Legion of course)
Keep up the good work
