Tyson, do you use an Airbrush? I think your overall style would benefit from Airbrush usage.

Ya me and tyson had a good laugh about that one because that was not the intention of that head design, but the priming and the way the picture got taken, that's just the fluke effect that came from it lol

sadly I don't own an airbrush and I am still completely clueless on its use. Still making baby steps when it comes to painting and honestly without Randy's help I wouldn't even be able to do what I have so far. Not that I'm not interested in learning how to though, I'm just terrified of it.

General use is very handy. I just use mine for base coating and it is amazing. I would eventually like to learn more but even as a beginner it saves a lot of time.

So progress has been slow but I'm doing my best to wrap things up. I had a bunch of pictures to post but they turned out really blurry so I only have one progress pic until I can get a hold of Randy's phone and take some more updated shots.

i like your choice of color pallet on the shield. if its any indication how the rest will look, that will be a nice color scheme.

Alrighty, hope its not too late. Had to wait for Randy's phone again. Didn't get to do anything more for the riptide due to time constraints however, so its what I brought to the tournament already.
