Robyn's Nurgle Lord

Gathered up my Nurgle lord bits.

I almost made this dude as well. I picked him a few months back.. a blast from the past.

Haha.. I did a bit of work. After the mad scramble to get my army ready for tooncon and having to then bail.. I had a bunch of modelling enthusiasm. These are pictures from earlier in the week, and I've even made a bit more progress since then.

I love the low rider.

A couple more pictures. Ive got his arms and backpack on now to, I'll update tonight. I guess I forgot to take pictures at the end of the modelling session. I better get modelling done fast..  still need time to paint the dude.
 



 
 
I started to add some nurgle green stuffing puss balls and stuff. There are a few things I'm not to happy with right now that I think I can still fix up. His forks are a bit to thin..  so I'm going to add a bit of reinforcement down the side, with a few more spikes. I like how the combi-bolter apparatus turned out..  but something isn't quite working with it. I think I need to add something else to the pole they are mounted to.. maybe a few wires or cabling or something to also cover up where they are glued.
 
Opinions? Good or bad Id like to hear them all!

K, pictures fixed. Some additional work from last night. Sorry, lighting is pretty bad. Im to lazy to go upstairs and take another one. Got the mace on and a bit of mutation for his driving arm. Got a bit of nurgling added.

Man Robyn, that looks fantastic. Cannot wait to see it painted.

I really like the use of horns as extended grip handle bars.

The bike is looking real good. LIke the horned handle bars!

He's totally going to lose 3 hullpoints to two 6's on a Graviton gun and then get sniped out of combat by a deathray. He must be awesome!

Primered up

Started painting last night. I got the base colours on here.. its now washed. Ill get to base layers tonight and maybe highlights tomorrow. Might be a tight crunch.. shouldnt bave doddled so much with modelling. Im sure i spent an hpur each evening sifting through bitz.. and somehow lost his left driver arm.. hence the mutation.

Well, I got him pretty much done. Now that the competition is over I can go back and touch up a bunch of things.. but the scramble the last few nights did get me an entry in at least.

Once the poll is done I can talk more about all the stuff I still have to fix
