white dwarf subscription

the mail order paperback is what, $110, right?

i decided to buy a 1 year subscription on my ipad since itll let me zoom and rotate on models, and it only cost me $65. single issues are $7

My problems with the iPad version:

1) ~400MB per issue
2) No zooming on pages (all those sneak previews of the Chaos Codex are un-readable
3) I still like hard-copy...

there is just something about the glossy pictures of a magazine.

perhaps its remembering the days before the internet and my prized collection of questionable material.

Reading an iPad on the shitter is not the same.

i like it so far. all the photos of the new models i was able to zoom in on and see better. i agree it sucked i couldnt zoom the sneak peak photos of the new codex.

however, i like keeping all my books in one easy place, and not worrying about losing an issue or having it get wrecked cause someone wanted to cut pretty pictures out of it.

oh, and the cheaper price is nice too
