This guy's a genius, and this is basically how I do it, although I mix in a Baal Wash instead of a black ink with my red ink. I like it a bit brighter.

I had reccomended to my a mix of Tamiya Clear Smoke and Clear Red for blood. It works really well.

Same thing only different?

I liked the old GW inks, but they don't make 'em anymore :-( I'm happy with P3's Red Ink, but it's not as cool as GW's old ink.

over gold or metallics i really likes the chestnut ink in large quantities as it makes it look like a slightly dried gory mess! (great for my lizards Very Happy)

Different formula. For this application I like it much more than any of the inks from the game companies.
