looks like the stormpigeon is Space marines only and likely FA (note the Assault squad insigna on the top) Personally, I'd rather bulk up a LS Typhoon. It looks like a StormRaven turret on steroids. Is it just me or could you likely convert most of this with a Ravenwing sprue???

The Ork Bomma is sweet, and the Necron Vehicles are gorgeous.

the gunship is just BEGGING to be orkified, or turned into some giant mech thing.

It has potential, but needs some converting to make it look better. Extend out the engines a bit on some booms or something, and remove the ridiculously large chin turret, and streamline the whole thing. Take your hand and cover up the huge turret, and you find it looks alot better.

My issues are A) it doesn't look like it can possibly fly, it's worse than the Storm Raven.

B) Is it really neccessary? Doesnt the LS Tempest fill the same role? (AV 11, Skimmer, Fast, AssCan and Typhoons)?

it's definitely not a pretty thing at all. and i bought a storm raven.
i'll be doing moderate conversion work to this thing if/when i buy one/a pair, depending on the point costs.

your right on how they should've just taken the tempest's design and remodeled the exterior slightly to accommodate the new weapon choices this thing has beau. though iirc, its not a typhoon the tempest comes with; its just a TL tactical marine's missile launcher.

Take a LS. Enclose the cockpit (plasticard, what have you) beef up the armor if need be.

Use the T/L AssCan fromthe ravenwing sprue. Mag the attachment point for the typhoon launchers.

Magnetize predator weapons and the typhoon launcher. Abracadabra! *poof* Stormpigeon for $30 and bitz AND you can use it as a tempest or a LS.

And it'll look way better than that THING.

Meh, the Space Marine thingy looks fine to me.

Yup I'm with Scott and Dom. They look fine. The wife let me use her computer and I took the pic's in her pic thingy program. Then changed the Ultra Marine blue to a Blood Raven Redish colour and a pale tan colour on the thrusters. My opinion it looks pretty sweet. Probably going to pick up at least two of these puppies. Oh and Ben if you lower your standards you increase your odds... lol

meh. all the space marine vehicles look like dumb metal boxes, long as the rules for it are somewhat useful, I'd be all over a CSM version

I think it looks alright. I may buy a couple to add to my angels force. I like me some flyers
