Learn from my fail 2: Triarch Stalker (now with a pic)

I did it again....

Paint the entire warrior assembly before you glue it into the cockpit.

My plan was to paint the entire everything before assembly, and do minor touch ups after the glue sets. I found that works well with Necrons in general.

Generally good advice, except for warriors, assemble, paint, then rods.

My white squad of warriors I did was paint, then assemble. Necrons have too many long bits that cross over each other to paint nicely otherwise, I found. My black warrior squads were painted after assembly, largely due to them coming that way, and I think I really would have preferred in the long run to have done it on the sprue.

Quick Stalker Update. Because the Particle Shredder gun looks so retarded, I'm not building one. So both my stalkers have Heat Rays. GW made me a better player by designing an ugly gun.

Also, I've got 4 Heavy Guass Cannons, -3 Because I'm going to be converting some of my destroyers into heavy destroyers. (I'll try that 260pt unit of 3 Heavy, 2 Regular destroyers... a little bit of S9 36" range shooting...)

That said, I have one leftover. Any takers? Want it assembled first?
