Stalker vs Mortis

so i'm building a loyalist list at the moment and i'm wavering on my anti-air.

Mortis Dreads are av 12/12/10 , stalkers are 12/12/10.
both put out 4 TL'd str 7 ap 4 skyfire shots at BS 4.

The Mortis is 125(?) points
The Stalker is 75 points.

the mortis can shoot at ground targets at full BS because it can have interceptor

the stalker does not have intereceptor.

the stalker can choose to split its guns and shoot at two targets, for a total of 8 shots, but at BS 2.

The mortis is arguably better, as its more versatile and can have interceptor. But you can almost get two Stalkers for the price of one mortis.

My vote is for the Mortis, but I'm biased. Interceptor is the bees knees. It really depends on if you need E or HS slots more.

Its a loyalist army, so i automatically get +1 to every FOC slot. so i'm not fussed about the elites vs HS.

I think your right about the Mortis.

But i'm probably slanting toward the stalker, it benefits from prescience if you split fire .. and i have 8-10 rhinos that can be converted. Rhino with two Plague Bearers pointing BFG's at the air should work for a nice Counts-As.

So it's a plague marine/daemon list counts as loyalist?

The stalker kit is nice, but can be EASILY converted. Hell, a razorback with an aegis gun on top works. I like your idea tho, sounds like an awesome.

Yeah, i have about 30 bikes i've been wanting to use for a while, and got my hands on some drop pods, so i'm doing up Counts-as White scars army with Doomrider! as Kor-sorra Khan.
