So, the Stalker gets removed from my kit bash queue, and the Scythes get cemented, with the bonus of more "wing bits" to work with.

I've never had any luck with the Tomb Blades in the past. They seem to just show up and die, not really doing much else.

Tomb Blades are awesome. You gotta take that particle weapon on 'em though. 5 S6 blast weapons is super cool. I think that squad comes in a 150 points. Turbo Boost on turn one to get a 3++ save, and then start the mass killing after that. mmmmm tasty. I imagine Orks wouldn't like 5 S6 blast weapons hitting a unit of boyz too much! S6 is super versatile too. Anything rhino on down is in big trouble.

Edit: As for flyers, I'd still recommend holding off. It's not like I've been hamstrung without them. Actually, I'm starting to think I don't really want one. I might just get two stalkers. mmmmm stalkers. One with the Big Blast, the other with the melta. AV13 swankyness.

My Deathmarks are demanding a transport, and they are holding my parent's cats hostage.

As for the particle weapons, given that they are heavy, that would mean turbo-boosting into place and then sitting still the following turn, yes?

Tonb Blades are jetbike (correct?) which should give them relentless.

This is true, I forgot that all bikes got that rule.

Skinny, Spyders are plastic, one per box. Wraiths are plastic, 3 per box. Stalkers are plastic, one per box.

Destroyer Lord and Heavy Destroyer are fine-cast bits. Not sure if you need to buy a regular destroyer and a sprue. That'd be lame. (Although, tempting to cannibalize one of my Destroyers to turn into a Destroyer Lord).

Tomb Blades are 3 per box, because everyone who wants to run a unit of 5 needs an extra one they can't do anything with.

I already have a Destroyer queued up to convert into lord status. I guess he won't be getting a Lego Warscythe after all.

So Images have started to break on the forums here’s the scoop on Warseer.

On the Spyders, I have to say wow. They really got jacked up.

The wraiths look pretty darn close to how I was intending to proxy them, though they did come up with an elegant solution to the Whip Coil problem that I had yet to resolve.

I'm really liking those new models, the Tomb Spyders and Triarch Stalkers look delightfully sinister! The Characters look great as well, although I think I need a closeup of Obyron.

Now the bikes on the other hand....the problem is the profile. A jetbike that is taller than it is long just looks goofy to me. And I understand that the warrior inside is basically there as an operating system, but it just looks wierd that he isn't doing anything, just sitting there. I do have a solution though, as I have 5 older metal wraiths, I don't really need another unit, cause spamming isn't my thing usually. I plan on repositioning the new plastic wraiths horizontally and mounting the appropriate weapons on them and treating those as the tomb blades. I figure that works out nicely

The new Necron wave has shown up on the GW website now, complete with prices.

I think the Stalker turned out pretty reasonable for pricing, but holy crap, $30 for the Illuminator?

$30 sounds right for a finecast special character; most of the cool looking ones, and most of the marine ones come out to around that price. if you wanted a model that costs less, ya should've gotten into building model cars tom! lol

Picked up the new WD, looks like the tomb Blades are modular and you can mount weapon/vanes etc where you want to create a longer/thinner profile.

Anyone wanna go 2/3rds 1/3rd on a box of tomb blades?

I think I am just going to limit myself to a Stalker for the moment. My maternal grandmother decided to send me a check out of the blue with the stipulation that I can not cash it until the 3rd, with is a rather convenient timing for this wave.
