Tom's ZM Necrons
It occured to me that almost all my problems in the tournament came back to bottle-necking mucking with my scarab swarms (and not realizing how jank wraiths got to be in that format). So I went back and reviewed my list, trying to figure out how I could tweak it. I had originally just wanted to prune some points and split the scarab swarm in half, but upon reviewing the FoC for this game type it became apparent that I couldn't do that without having to drop out my jump infantry, and nothing else filled the hole they left. As such, a complete re-build was in order!
Codex: Necrons
Stratagem: Tunnel Network
HQ:
Imotekh, Despair Tek x4. 345 pts
Troops:
Tesla Immortals x5. 85 pts
Tesla Immortals x5. 85 pts
Elites:
Deathmarks x8. 152 pts
Deathmarks x8. 152 pts
Fast Attack:
Canoptek Wraiths x4, T-Beamer x2, Whip Coils. 180 pts
999 points total
While I generally don't consider the Fear Thrower that good without an attached Deathmark squad, with the game format turning it effectively into a Twin Linked Fear Thrower makes it totally worth it. And it's not like this list is filled with ranged responses to Mark's C'Tan or anything...

I would drop Imotekh for a regular Foot Lord. You're not going to get much out of Bubba's Lightning, as you won't be rolling that many dice (4-6) and there aren't any vehicles to abuse.
I like the T-Beamers on the wraiths. If you make your initiative check, getting full ballistic skill shots with the T-Beamers is scary. Pistols would be not bad too. Also, Whip Coils rock.

I think I'm going to keep the Storm Lord in for now, as it does allow me the opportunity to smack a squad on the other end of the map that I don't even have LoS to. The tight confines also makes his Staff of the Destroyer generally better, as hallways will force people to march in rank and file, perfect for that line to run through a whole squad.

I forgot about the staff and that he has Phaeron! Good points.

He also has a Gauntlet of Fire to overwatch with, too, along with the standard load out of Overlord tank tech (2+/3++).

Re: Tom's ZM Necrons
Gauntlet already gets to re-roll to wound, so no big benefit there, I guess.

Re: Tom's ZM Necrons
Gauntlet gets to re-roll to wound in melee, not ranged. You'd thusly benefit from the the flamer-reroll rule used in ZM here.
