So the forces of chaos and the ultramarines met on the field of battle.

The result is that we both realize the folly of using lascannons as they only ever roll 1's to hit , wound or Pen.

also, Chaos came out with the win.

We both had similar armies with similar strategies. he shot at me, i shot at him, he shot at me, i shot at him. we exchanged units for a little while.

Daemon prince kills land raider.
Daemon prince gets assaulted by contents.
Daemon prince kills Libarian.
Terminators kill Daemon Prince.
Terminators assault and kill obliterators.
Terminators get assaulted by two CSM dreadnoughts.
Dreadnoughts kill Terminators.

We had a 4 turn battle in the middle of the board where a sorcerer and 6 plague marines cuddled up with a rifledread until a CSM dreadnought came to bail them out.

in the end it was 3 Chaos table quarters to 1 Ultramarine's table quarter. secondary objectives were tied at 2 and 2, if that matters at all. We did not count up kill points, but a quick mental count leads me to believe I would have won, had tiebreakers gone to KPS. i believe i only gave up 5kp. (DP, 2x oblitz, Rhino, Defiler). i count at least 10 from the ultramarines Libby, termies, LR, 2xDread,2xSpeeder, Tac squad, Rhino, predator?

Crazy thing about this game is that i was playing a dual lash list and i only got to cast Lash once, on the very last turn, and it wouldn't really have changed the outcome of the game.

anyway, it was a long hard fought battle! Thanks Gavin.

now, when does next league start?! more games happen when there are league standings on the line.

It was a good game, Turn three was really looking good for me. I underestimated the dreads with a mix of oblits that would not die, I think that was my downfall.

Mark hasn't been on for a week at least. I don't know what happened to him.

Maybe. It's true that guy is not very good at curling. It's embarassing to have such a crappy representative. I last felt this way when we sent Cheryl Bernard to the Olympics. At least she was hot. This dude sucks at curling and is not hot at all.

No.. not usually.. he tracks it on a spreadsheet when store credit is involved.

You'll have to check with Darren, but they usually dont allow the credit to be used with other sales.. just because he;s already rewarded us with extra to begin with. He usually kicks in 20-25% above league fees collected then gives us the credit.

Double check with him though.
