1500 point Tourney Sunday Aug 21

I'm pretty sure this forum does have spell check built in because I have spell check (using google chrome web browser) and I had spell check before (using mozilla firefox web browser) unless both those browsers just happen to also have spell check built in, either way I don't believe any other web browsers exist so no problems there.

I ponied up my $10, that's 3 free wins for random tournament attendees.

The next one I run I think I'll grant some sort of a bonus to players who sign up early. Maybe a cheaper entrance fee or something.

so tourney is this weekend, hope it runs well.

That's quite the thing. If you want, "The Kid" can volunteer to be your official dice roller & reader. He loves Tyranids and would love to help.

Then you can say you had a "Seeing Eye Kid".

LW: Mark, right? that is the most awesome idea I've ever heard. I had my daughter be my official dice roller one game. She'd add dice, place them down so only 6's were showing, and yell "Yeah, you won AGAIN daddy!!!!!" That said she'd get mad when the other guys when to roll and she didn't seem to understand that "clacking" 2 of the metal one together wasn't such a good idea.

In sadder news, I can't make it tomorrow, overtime sucks until the check comes in. Spamus or Bear (if they can make it) are gonna go in my spot (just leave my entry fee in, and put them in my spot please Adam.) Was looking forward to getting some more games in, but I guess I get to wait til Oct and ToonCon.

Great event, had an extra 30$ of prizes from people who signed up but couldn't show. The results were:

1st place 40$ - Tim
2nd place 25$ - Scott
3rd place 15$ - Mark
4th place 10$ - Dom

Adam: Thanks for running a good tournament. It was better than last time. I liked the objectives/missions being announced in advance as well as tiebreakers.

Tim: Congrats on winning again and having a strong list. I didn't know how to deal with it with my list.

Mark: I had a good time playing against Necrons and learning them right before they change :p

Dom: I hope you learned more about how to play your list. We should have another game sometime.

So it wasn't an all power-armor fest this time?

Would have much rather been there rather than @ work. Maybe next time.

Thanks to Adam for running the event. I think everyone had a good time. Maybe we'll get more than 4 players one of these days.
