Well I want to base my Eldar army with snow. I followed this guide for snow, and I think it looks ok. Here's a couple pictures of the results on my Farseer's base. Tips, tricks, opinions (on the snow and/or farseer)?

Looks good. For warmachine I use white glue and baking soda.

I really like snow bases, and this method looks good. I have seen snow bases that have yellowed over time, which really sucks, but im not sure which method causes it. I have heard that baking soda will eventually turn yellow, but i have also heard it was the glue. Hopefully it wont happen with the method you are using, but if anyone knows what causes some snow bases to turn yellow i would love to know so i can avoid the problem in the future.

For baking soda bases you need to do the mutiple layers then I have heard and tried spraying it with a protective seal.

from what I understand, anything that can absorb moisture and is in contact with air will start to grow mold.

I cant remember what the yellowing mold is called, but effectively whenever something old goes yellow (walls, couches) its because its outer layer absorbed water and grew mold

Baking soda is able to contain a decent amount of water making it prone to yellowing... so using some sort of a clear chemical sealant would probably be the best, (I know they have stuff they put in pain that works)
