~augh my eyes!~
So I've been painting about 8 hours a day for the last 2 days, trying to get my army ship-shape for PA. My eyes hurt, my back is sore, and my neck is creaky. I've been trying different stretches, does anyone know a good routine to stay limber on those painting marathons?

Daemons. i had half the army painted, but I'm trying to get the other half (including the ungodly-painful difficult to paint KoS) all painted, for a full paint score, and hopefully best painted.

" Hopefully best painted "...
If they are even close to what you normally do you got that one in the bag.

Painting is just like any sitting on yer ass for a long time activity... I have experience with this. lol
Make sure you have proper posture whilst you paint, it's surprising how much this affects things. When I used to play piano, I noticed a difference when I sat properly as opposed to not. When I practiced for a long period of time (anywhere from 1-2 hours), I had to keep proper body posture and relaxed hands or else I would mess something up - my piano teacher drilled it into me that if not done properly, doing it over and over again would lead to serious damage, I've noticed that the same thing applies mostly to painting.
Stretch every 15-20 minutes, take a walk around the room . Focus your eyes on a far away object for about a minute or two, looking outside at a tree works well. A trick I use is I recycle my water pots every 15 minutes, even if it's not needed, good excuse to get up and walk to the kitchen sink.
but as with doing anything, doing it for 8 hours in a row... yeah, you are going to be sore. lol Good thing I don't have the attention span/patience for painting that long, heh
