magnetizing: a nid players best friend

So in the bout of not sure what to paint with the new codex coming out i decided to work on something that is 100% useable regardless of what weapon options are out there.




a carnifex with magnetized head, carapace, and all the arms. The small magnets at the den are the perfect size and with a bit of green stuff and super glue i now got a fully magnetized carnifex waiting to be primed when the weather changes. only sad thing is i'm tempted to rip apart my other fex's arms to magnetize them as well...

next up... tyrant or trygon (depending which i get first)

I had done this about a couple months ago using the miniwargaming video. It is time consuming if you don't have a dremmel tool like the guy in the video but the results are worth it. looking good jesse

It's always a good option to magnetize even if you don't know what good options are going to be in the next codex. The last codex is a bad example of this, but the newer codex (and more recent releases of GW) actually offer more than one build that's good.

Personally using a dremel and gluing the magnets in after priming.
