New player in town
Hi,
I am Justin and I just arrived in Saskatoon from Newfoundland. While I am still trying to figure out hohw to drive in this town I was lucky enough(GPS and road map type of luck) to find the dragons den where I was invited to join this group and meet the local players.
I have been playing 40K for a fair time and can't wait to start playing agian after my armies time in the penal legion known as shipping boxes.
Hope to meet you all in person soon.

Re: New player in town
I have a main force of space wolves with about 3000 pts complete and 2000 more needing work ( including models that I can no longer even use under the new codex). I also have small forces of imperial guard/witch hunters and orcs but they are more of a hobby than a playing force.

I can't speak for the Eastern coast, but I can tell you that this city probably has the worst drivers in the entire country. While I am still trying to figure out hohw to drive in this town
Welcome, if you come to the Den on Wednesdays I'll gladly have you a game, although I can't offer much competition as I play necrons and I'm still modestly new to the wargame

I am learning a new codex that was massively changed and I haventplayed against a new person with new army lists and tactics in years so right now we are evenly matched I say. Besides A nice eaasy game of slaughtering soft necrons would be a great way to met you. Unless your necrons will not stay dead and slaughter my wolves then I will meet you and have to remach.

Well, just remember that 5th edition is all about mounting up. And that's just the thing that Necrons have a huge problem with - killing vehicles.urlec wrote:HolyCause

And if you ask most people here, my Necrons act like BS5 space marines that suck miserably in close combat. They shoot well (wounding not so much), and my WBB rolls are terrible
