Food Bank Tourney details - edited

So, unless I find out anything different, the Food bank tourney will be starting at noon tomorrow. Make sure you're there about 11 30 though at the latest.. and maybe we can start a bit early.

I wanted to start by thanking the people who have apporached me with prizes so far. We're going to have some good awards, that's for sure. So far on the prize list:

This just added, the Den will be donating a collection of new Space marine stuff. The prizes keep expanding!

Squad of Eldar Reapers donated by Cam
Forgeworld Berserker upgrade kit
Forgeworld Plasma Cannon for Dreadnaught
Novel from Paz

and then we have a prize coming in from PA with Ben, something from The Den and then othe rmembers Ryan K, Chris H and Chris A might be bringing some stuff down.

It looks like we'll have better prize support for this tourney than we've had for the previous big ones.. Smile

Remember to bring your food items!

Don King also mentioned he was sending out a media package for the event. I don't know if anyone will show up at all from the media, maybe Planet S or something, but I'm not crossing my fingers. However, I thought it only fair to give warning so you don't show up with spaghettit in your beard or something.

Hey Rob, are there any prizes for painting, sportsmanship, or anything else?

I will be giving out prize tickets for the best painted, and probably a few other things. Sporsmanship potentially, but I have a few other categories I'll be rewarding with prize tickets to go into the draws.

As in the scenarios? You wont get that till tomorrow. Wouldnt be a fun a tournament if everyone knew the sceanrios ahead of time Smile

That being said, you can expect missions that are in the spirit of the rulebook ones, but with some twists to make them different and of course, fun.

Nope, not really. As long as it's a valid GW army list, your in good shape. If it's something really weird, you can ask first but Im not aware of that many armies out there that people use that are questionable.
