Lord of the Warp - part 3 !!

So, with the league starting up next week, Ryan mentioned that it might be a good idea to host a kick-off tournament.. so were going to do exactly that on Friday, Oct 16th. Since everyone will be playing recon games to begin with, it will be a recon tournament. We'll be using the recon rules from the league for force composition which I'll include below.
500 points
0-1 HQ
1+ Troops
0-1 Fast Attack, Elite, or Heavy Support. (only one choice from those three catagories combined, not 1 from each category)
Further Restrictions:
1. No models can have better than a 3+ armor save.
2. No models can have more than 2 wounds.
3. No vehicles with a total Armor Value greater than 33. This is calculated by adding the Front, Side and Rear armor.
4. No special, unique or named characters.
5. No ordnance weapons
Emphasis should be placed on what you believe is a proper patrol squad. A patrol squad would be what could pass as a scouting force. As usual, there will points and prizes for painted minis as well as sportsmanship. Sorry I didn't give you guys more time to get your forces painted up, but you have a week!
Just so everyone knows, painting will be judged as follows. 1 point if you have some paint on minis and everything is based. 1 additional point if all the models in your army are painted and bases finished.
Sportsmanship will be 1 point if your opponent was decent. 2 points if yuo had a great opponent. I'll have the parameters on the score sheets, but just wanted to give everyone an idea so they aren't surprised.
The fee for the tournament will be $10. We'll be putting it all back into prizes and will have some door prizes to give out as well.
We'll be starting at about 6 30, and going until we finish up. There will be four games, each of which should be under an hour, although I anticpate most games to take about 30-40 minutes. The scenarios will be a mixed bag as usual.
The most important thing is all the games during the tournament will allow you to accumulate recon points in the league. As well, all who participate will recieve some league bonus points, including the winners who might even get some strategic points.. Ooooooo... In order to claim these points though, you'll have to be signed up in the league, and playing the same army you register with for the league.

Sure, if you know your coming for sure and want to reserve a spot, feel free to post here. I'll probably try to cut if off at about 20 people.. if we even get that high. Ill be happy with anything over 10..

I should be able to make it, but I do have one question. With those restrictions, I can't bring a HQ unit. The Eldar codex doesn't have a single HQ unit under 3 wounds, though they are all T3.

Though... My only HQ i can take are etherals... My weakest HQ...
My lowest cost commander is 3 wounds
So that means I have to take an etheral? That sucks you know... lol

For Recon, you don't need an HQ if there are no 2 wound ones available.

I added a bit in info into the initial post so everyone knows what to expect for painting/sportsmanship. There shouldn't be any surprises and were just trying to keep things simple.
