Games for Aug 30 to Sept. 5

Hey Robyn want to do a control game Tuesday? Thursday would be best if since we would have lots of time if you were willing to count it since its the 3rd.

Perhaps we could even do an apocalyptic planet strike control mission

Looking for a control game for Wed. I would love an Apoc game, since my titan kicks ass lately.

Sure I could do a control game wednesday, could even start in the afternoon I can do up to 5k points

well that makes it easy for me my list it for 5 K already, and starting in the afternoon also works. What time would you want to start?

Wow its been forever since I posted in a topic like this...but im going to be back for this wednesday...anyone want a 1500pt game, fyi im not in the league so it would just be for the awesomeness of playing me

Never done the planet strike, so you will have to fill me in on the rules for that one.

It has new strategems...1 per player per objective.

Objectives are bastions which can house troops and have guns on them.

Its fairly simple, but its best to read an over view of the game: who can deepstrike, the landing zone, the fortifications, the firestorm, etc) If you dont get around to getting a copy, or dont feel like it, we can always just do a standard apocalypse game.

i'm always up for something different.

If you want it to be under the league, then we'll have to use the new 'both sides pay 20 pts for a control game' rule, b/c i won't have 30 points by then (But I'm having a strategic game later today, so even with a major loss I'll have 20+ points).

Failing to solicit any league-control games, I'd like to issue an open challenge for an apocalyptic brawl.


Just FYI, I can probably field about 3K points. Not sure if you guys use the apocalypse rule about getting an additional asset for every 250 under the points total your army is, but if so I'd be willing to face a bigger (3,500-4K) army with a few extra assets on my side and see how that works out. Also, until I get the conversion figured out, I'm Planning to field my (newly minted) Baneblade as Yarrick's Fortress of Arrogance, so if anybody wants to play but has a problem with 'counts as', please let me know.
