Another Week; More Warhammer 40k.

So anyone up for a game this Wednesday? either 500-2000 regular or 4000 apocalypse (havnt played apoc in a while)

I have not played an Apoc in a while it would be nice. What time and how many stratagems per side do you want?

@littlehurc::: Id say 1 strategem per player form either apoc the reload.

As for the time we may as well start early and see how many turns we can get in. Im not doing anythign till school starts next week; so how early can you start?

ok so 1 stratagem, 4000 points 2pm tomorrp,

I would like to say 1 Super heavy or 1 Gargantuan creature per side also, dont like when there are too many of them.

Canadin - I guess I just have to ask, why play an Apocalypse if your only using 1 super heavy and 1 strategem? The rules overall, are actually pretty crappy for a basic game.

The stratagems, formations, and units make it the only reason to play. Do you also mean only 1 choice from the formations as well, or can you have as many of those you want?

I'm just curious because I've never seen anyone set such low limits..

I would be up for a game, but my orks are in rough shape on top of being unpainted, they didn't enjoy moving this summer were as I had too much fun painting lizards and neglected the poor green dudes.

well its just that I figured in a 4000 point game 1 stratagem and 1 super was enough per player,

Play bigger games like 6k or 10k or 20k or 40k (biggest Ive gone) and you can remove limits.

I just dont like playing a small game of 4 Wraith Titans vs a troop army

Thats cool, I was just curious. I can understand the Superheavy thing. If your opponent can field the craziness, its not to much fun going up against 3 titans and nothing else. If its a 4000 point game, one titan is going to be a huge pain as it is...

I just hate how did they scoring aspect. In the Apoc book, its the old rules.. units over 50% and mobile vehicles. In reloaded, they say you can either use theold rules, or the new rules where only troops are scoring.. .. .. some people, who have lots of vehicles and titans are of course want to use the old rules, even though they suck. I wish they would of just hard lined errata'd it instead of just.. "Oh, do what you would like.."

Sure thing, but like i said, the little guys are kind of an eye sore at the moment.

We ruled it as Troops only can hold and contest.

In the end of turn 7 it was 2 objectives for the daemons and 1 for the marines

Very fun game though, thinking of having another apoc next week.
