Sorry,to clarify, the free transports formation is the Gladius Strike Force Battle Company. I also realized that I don't have enough tanks to run it.

Thursday might be only option, Friday is my BFA show, and Saturday is cleanup then get super graduation drunk

Now im curious if Paz is having a super graduation that hes getting drunk at.. or if hes getting super drunk at his graduation.

Haha, once I'm done my BFA defence next week I'm basically done school, but for a few final assignments.

So this is like celebrating being done he tough part? A super duper graduation.

The boring official convocation comes in June.

Thought on this Battle Company list for playoffs please.  I don't want to offend anyone with cheese but I hear there are eldar, tau and necron armies to face so...

@Sam I like your list only real change I would do is ether drop the centurion missile or go with twin Las on your Sargent

Nothing cheesey about that. Hard to really get amped up with Space marines short of the Gladius formation. And even then, it's not that bad unless you're really going for maximum effect. I just have a problem with any formation that gives you "free" units or upgrades though. You can easily set to maximize that and go into a game with a fairly massive point advantage over your opponent which can be hard to overcome.

Necrons/Eldar/Tau are not really different than most the armies out there right now. Daemons and Khorne Daemonkin are both solid as well. The only silly thing with Eldar I find these days is simply the Scatter laser bikes, but I don't really know anyone who's been maxing those out anyway. A unit or two aren't bad to deal with. It's really all those "possibilities" that get scary. Yes, you can use 30 scat bikes in an army, but not many people will in a friendly environment.

Now, we've also always held to the convention that in the play-offs, you can push your list making up a little bit. Hey, lots at stake here. Not necessarily the small amount of store credit you get, but your name up on the "Wall of Champions" !

Thanks again for hosting Dan! I got pretty lucky with the cards and some timely dice. That failed leadership roll that ran a unit off the board first turn really didn't help matters for you. In any event, I really appreciated your patience, guidance and great sportsmanship!
