Knight project
firstly, i'd like to apologize to the saskatoon players:
finally got around to purchasing my 3rd knight. this one is intended to be a Warden, but i'm going to see about magnetizing the arms in such a way to allow it to be different variants.

Re: Knight project
so, update on the work so far:
Chassis construction has begun on Bloody Broadsword
nuln oil wash was then done onto the chassis:
Brasswork was then started on the legs. this was a 60/40 mix of balthasar gold and lahmian medium in a single coat. its okay if the brass isnt solid, because its metallic on metallic so it blends nicely.
brasswork receives the 2nd stage, drybrushing Brass Scorpion over it, which hides any silver poking through and gives it a warmer glow. right leg done, left leg not:
Close up of the brass work; pistons are first stage, the rear piston housing is second stage:
Here's the right leg with all of the brass coated.
brasswork on the torso is now done. this was drybrushed Brass Scorpion directly onto the washed leadbelcher:

Re: Knight project
A silver drybrush was done over the chassis, with a light coating done on the edges of the brass work to further highlight it. Power cabling and hydraulic lines are also being picked out at this stage
Detailed shots of the highlighting done. The feet have not received any highlights since they will be coloured differently
